When we have all manner of karaoke machines for sale, it is not hard to jump to the conclusion that we love karaoke. We are not the only ones either as there are quite a few celebrities out there who love karaoke as much as we do! And it is not just the ones who are great singers; some celebrities just love karaoke for the fun they have!
Vin Diesel
The action star of the Fast and Furious franchise does not strike you as someone who loves to belt a tune out for karaoke, but don’t let his hard-man looks deceive you. You can find a video of Vin performing an earnest and heartfelt rendition of Rihanna’s “Stay” on YouTube!
Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Joseph Gordon-Levitt has shown his singing chops a few times, and has even done karaoke in a film too! There are a few clips out there showing how good JGL can rock on a karaoke stage, performing everything from Lady Gaga to Joe Cocker, with those who have witnessed his karaoke attesting to the fact he is a phenomenal performer.
Amy Adams
The Oscar-nominated actress and star of Disney musical Enchanted definitely has some powerful singing abilities and has mentioned several times how much she loves karaoke, even having a karaoke at home which helps her unwind at the end of the day working. There is also a YouTube video out there of her crushing a song from Wicked!
Katy Perry
Katy Perry is a world-famous singer so we know she can sing, so it is no surprise there have been reports of her loving some karaoke, with one video of her performing “I’ll Make Love to You” by Boyz II Men along with Twilight star Robert Pattinson. He is also a musician, playing guitar and piano and composing his music, with some of his songs featuring in his films.
Daniel Radcliffe
The boy wizard himself, Daniel Radcliffe might be better known as an actor, but he happens to be a huge karaoke fan! He has mentioned in interviews how he often will say, “No, no, I won’t” but will immediately grab the mic with very little persuasion! Favourite songs to perform includes Elvis’s “Hound Dog” and “Real Slim Shady” because he is a big Eminem too.
Rupert Grint
Daniel Radcliffe is not the only Harry Potter cast member who loves karaoke, as Rupert Grint aka Ron Weasley has appeared in a few YouTube videos doing his best at karaoke, along with other Harry Potter co-stars. You can check out his performance of “(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party)” by the Beastie Boys and Sonny and Cher’s “I Got You, Babe.”
Serena Williams
Tennis superstar and top athlete Serena Williams has shown she is also a karaoke queen, and there are many clips and news stories about the tennis legend performing karaoke before grand slams. She has even stated it’s her “favourite thing,” maybe more than tennis! Her favourite tunes to belt our are the 80s and 90s rock songs as it suits her voice.
